Be the Change

Looking for volunteers to host a professional rain gauge and report precipitation results to Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network. Participants can use the CoCoRaHs app on a smartphone, or report results online. The rain gauges must reside in Goodyear Heights as this citizen scientist project is to understand how weather interacts with our Heights hill. Your data helps meteorologists at the National Weather Service & NOAA.

Just beginning to form, we are looking for people who are interested in the history of the Little Cuyahoga river in Akron, OH, and are interested in protecting it by educating others, picking up litter, and /or participating in water quality monitoring efforts.
